This eyeglass chain is available as a chain (with eyeglass ends), or as a necklace (with a loop at the bottom). The chain in the photos has the ends as you can see. The necklace is intended to be used with the loop/ring in the front. On that ring, you would slide the arm of your glasses to hang them. Different people like the different styles for different reasons. It is truly up to your personal preference.
